I know we can convert a mainframe delimited file to csv or in xls format. Is it possible to extract a report in PDF format thru mainframe?

Yes. You can use SAS, or the readily-available freeware utility TXT2PDF.

Thanks, Superk.
I guess, txt2PDF is an external source. And not sure about SAS. I dont have much info on it. Can we directly convert dataset to PDF file automatically like we do to get CSV file in mainframe ?

Please share some visible info on this one.

Thanks,
radkrish

radkrish,

TXT2PDF is a free rexx source code. Witout SAS/txt2pdf there is no direct way of converting to PDF on the mainframe.
