Hi, I have 2 files A & B..A contains some values eg. 1,2,3,4 and B Contains 1 and 3 records.

Now I want to match these two files and store matched records and unmatched records into separate files.

I want to write code in JCL.

Please advice me how to proceed. Thanks

Regards,
Umapathi

Umapathi,

See the discussion at:

If you want specific help with a DFSORT/ICETOOL job to do this using SPLICE, tell me the RECFM and LRECL of your input files, and the position, length and format of the "keys" you want to match on. Some sample input and what you want the output to look like would be very helpful as well.
