IEC070I XXXX.XXX.XXXXXI10.DATA,CATALOG.AOKX
DFS629I IMS DYD TCB ABEND - IMS 0602-DLS IMSP

OFORDI10 is the Index file DD name.

recently a SVC is loaded as part of IMSV12 to IMSV13 upgrade. also /DIS DB shows below-

You are not clear in your question.

Has this happened on multiple occasions? Or is this the first time? Did it not occur before the SVC was installed? Is your upgrade complete?

Have you looked at the details of the message (IEC070I) and followed the suggestions? Are you sure the message correlates to IMS being brought down? It relates to EOV (End of Volume) processing, not CLOSE, so check the times.

Are there other messages?

Have you VERIFYied the data set subsequently?

If text is clear: if the problem recurs, contact IBM.

The Issue disappeared when IMS is upgraded to IMSV13.

the issue was never appeared before SVC was installed. We checked the VOL where Index files files were stored. there is enough space available on Volume and the file is also not filled to the extent of declared number of maximum records.

thankyou somuch for looking into this issue.
