#1: search selected forums only Author: blitz2, Posted: Wed Mar 14, 2007 11:02 pm — If I wish to search in, say 'Database' and 'JCL' forums, currently, I'd have to run twp searches separately. If I wish to search the forums from the 'Technical FAQs' section, that'd make it 4 separate searches.
Is it possible to have a drop down box of some sort and select the number of forums that one would want to search?
There could be another way to this... One can search using the 'all forums' option. But the search results could be filtered on the forum name. Because I do not want the results from the IMS or the Application programming forum, I'll just select 'Database' or 'JCL' from the down and just see the results from that forum.

Currently you do have the option of searching individual forums. If you want multiple forums to be searched , then I need to install a MOD to do that. I will try to add it , but no promises.
