After several years of running a shop with unsupported versions of software, Our shop management has finally decided to upgrade everything.

This includes CICS, DB2 v 7 to v9, Powerbuilder v 7 to v 9 etc...

Currently we are using Neon-Direct to connect PB and the backend CICS / DB2. But it looks like that the new version of DB2 is not compatible with current version of NeonDirect.

And we are planning to migrate from NeonDirect to IBM's DB2 Connect. Now the issue is DB2 Connect can interface PB with DB2 but does not work with CICS. So, we need to go for IBM's CTG (CICS Transaction Gateway).

Question:
Is CTG v 2.2 Compatible with Powerbuilder Version 7 / 8 / 9 ?

We gathered some docs on CTG but Powerbuilder is not at all listed in them - as compatible softwares. So, not sure if CTG can interface with powerbuilder,

Any insight on this will be really really helpful.

Thanks
