If our CICS region is up and we disable a CICS program which uses 2 DB2 tables will just disabeling the program give full control of DB2 tables to us for updation.

JOSHI.SHOBHA,

Disable the 2 transactions and issue the LOCK TABLE command in the program you are trying to update
