Hi,

I have written a job using Easytrieve in JCL. Requrement is to retrieve the data from IMS data base using the value. I have created a file to store the value and reading the value in easytrieve program in JCL and retrieving the records based on the Value. It is working fine. But client asked to use SYSIN instream instead of creating file/DATAIN. Please help me out how to code instream SYSIN and read the value in easytrieve code in jcl from sysin.

Thanks.

tvssv,

Look up the Easytrieve Manual for CARD keyword which lets you retrieve your file data from SYSIN.
