Hi
I have a problem in initializing more than one value to a field in esytrieve program. How can we intilialize a set of valeus to a working - storage field of an Easytrieve program, just as we can do in COBOL program. |

niranjan18,
Just use a Move statement to intialize the fields with a working storage variable.
ex:
Code: |
MOVE SPACES TO PGM-VAR1, PGM-VAR2, PGM-VAR3 ...
|
or a simple assingnment like this
Code: |
PGM-VAR1 = ' '
PGM-VAR2 = ' '
PGM-VAR3 = ' '
|
Hope this helps...
Cheers
