Its been a long time since i registered to this forum... Every time I open a topic and read the sequence of messages, no matter how complex the question is, our moderator kolusu has a very intelligent answer to it....

I just want to extremely appreciate for his relentless efforts he put in this website. I hope I will too be as great as him some day...

I would like to reseve this thread for him... Who ever want to thank him for the help he has rendered to the developer community, please add a reply to this message....

from a FAN of kolusu...

I still remember 2002 Thanks Giving day long weekend, when all of us were busy shopping and enjoying holidays,Kolusu launched this great site in just 2-3 days.I just admire him from the deep of my heart.

Even though I have not met him personally, I know he is down to earth guy and maintains a very low profile.Generally talented people are known be short tempered(especially when new comers ask basic questions). But this man is different. He knows exactly what goes in the minds of new comers. That is one thing I like in him.

No doubt & without hesitation I would say I am his HARD CORE FAN.

Now as a HARD CORE FAN I think I have right to ask my hero to show his real avatar.

I know lot of you guys also wanted to see how he looks. So guys, I want all of you to flood this thread with your reponses untill Kolusu shows his real Avatar.
Very Happy Smile

I just this site. Its like my Morning Coffee.. Boosts you up with lots of New/Creative Idea Ideas.

When ever am short of solutions or think that am new I will connect to this site and check them. I hardly need to post the question as most of them have solutions Smile . Just tweak the methods mentioned and your job is done.

Whenever I go through these post Rolling Eyes I feel that I don't know anything. But after executing the solutions given, I feel better. 8)

These Hackers its a shame on their part and its shows popularity of the site too. But its a pain to get the things corrected. I don't know how much time Kolusu is spending to rectify the problems. Think Arrow he should start a PHP solutions forum too.

I am surprised with Kolusu's patience/skills/etc..etc..

Cheers
Ravi

Sorry for using icons/images from other pages.. Just couldn't stop being creative.. atleast like this. Razz

Hai Phani,Ravi,Venkat,Mervyn & Sheshu,

Sorry guys,I am the last guy to post praises about great Kolusu, well earlier in one my posts i had already mentioned about inspiration from Kolusu's replies. To be honest, the helpboards page is my default homepage and i refresh (F5) every 10 minutes to see the latest updates from helpboards links if i am using my Comp.To a beginer like me ,i have the urge to learn more and more day by day on Mainframe Technologies.I have come to a conclusion that i need not go to any training / searching ,just log on to the website www.mvsforums.com and keep refreshing your screen ,you will automatically learn .Since i have joined,i am learning and improving myself a lot and I cannot say anything more than "THE BEST".

Well Venkat i agree with you that all of the members whoever has joined will be guessing in mind "who is Kolusu, how does he look like and where does he gets the knowledge to answer anything anytime, where does he stay" defintely.I think one day or the other Kolusu will show his real avatar.

I am just asking from my curiosity how did you start your career in Mainframes ,what exactly made you to take the path, how did your approach to Mainframes ,these technologies were well advanced in USA . I am just curious to know from you as in this present competative world ,finding people like you is really lucky and great. These are my strong feelings towards you.

My own query
-----------------

Code:

EXEC SQL DECLARE ANYCURSOR
    SELECT * FROM ALLMVSWEBSITES
    FETCH TOP FIRST ONLY
END-EXEC

From a great fan of Kolusu

No kidding, but initially I thought Kolusu is not a single person but a group of persons answering every other question posted in this forum and they all shared a common id named 'Kolusu'. It may sound stupid, but when you look at the answers in ReXX Forum, DB2 Forum, IMS forum etc., you see answers from Kolusu always.

Anyway, its nice to have persons like Kolusu / Frank.....
