I am geting user abend u 625 while trying to run a job
what may be the reason ??

what type of Job are we talking about ? Does the job deal with IMS? DB2? or VSAM?

Are you running BMC utilities?

aquarian, Probably we need more details of the abend/jcl/sysouts.
As the U0625 message its saying some DD statement error. So probably something needs to be done with the STEP DD cards being used.

hI all,
I found the solution for the above problem
The Attributes for the input file are different ....
I have changed them to FB from VB ..
then it ran successfully
