Can anyone help me upon these please?? I have some 1400 JCLs for which I have to determine the system and subsystem? I would like to automize the process?

Or else I will have to cut and paste all the data from the panel.

Hi Subashri,

I hope you have User Menu enabled (after E;2) at your shop.
Then you opt for
1 REPORTS - Build Endevor for OS/390 Report Requests
Then
1 MASTER - Build Master Control File report JCL
Next step would be (Check option)
Element catalog

FROM ENDEVOR/MVS
ENVIRONMENT ===> PROD
SYSTEM ===> *
SUBSYSTEM ===> *
ELEMENT ===> *
TYPE ===> *
STAGE ===> 2

DAYS ===> 9999

You may specify system ,subsytem or Element type

Hit Enter & Go back to
" ENDEVOR REPORTING INTERFACE "
to submit the job ...
S SUBMIT - Submit Report JCL for Batch execution

Hope this works fine for you..

Regards,
Shiv
