If you have a relatively new system you can use IDCAMS...... by far the easiest way |

Thing started as sub=mstr will look in the proclib(s) defined in the MSTJCL.
Some shops have an MSTJCLxx member in the Parmlib concatenation others use a MSTJCL00 member in SYS1.linklib |

You canNOT use wild multi qualifier wild cards for IDCAMS DELETE command
with z/OS 1.11 it is now possible |

you can "DELETE" a tape by over writing it.
Yeah agree but it's over written, contentes are not deleted?
Disk data is also not deleted. All that is done is VTOC updated |

With 1.5 you can create your own version of the LE options and link them together with your loadmod . I think your version of the options must be called CEEUOPT |

Try using adrdssu to dump and restore and on the restore specify new catalog . Many sites use a HLQ of sys1 for the iodf as then you can reallocate it and then do a define cluster recatalog. |
