| well mahinder if u dont want to make any changes to proc i.e gdg(+1) th only way to avoid a jcl eror is override with the new version nbr in the job

| normally there are naming standards to identify if a file is vsam/nonvsam ...other methods
1.use 3.4 find data and indx components 2.do a listcat .. this seems like some interview question ... |

| not sure y u want to use cond = 'only' coz only works ''only'' when a step abends .. else u can use a cond code at job level ..or may be use
IF ..else ..endif to just execute it ..try else pm me .. |
