Can someone please suggest what exactly SYS2.DSCB is doing here =>

DCB=(SYS2.DSCB,RECFM=VB,LRECL=1300,BLKSIZE=0)

SYS2.DSCB is your site's model DCB. I'd be willing tio bet that the statement using this is for a GDG.
