Hello,
I am trying to send datasets from mainframe as attachment.
The TCP/IP method is not working in my shop. So the next resort is XMITIP.
Unfortunately, we don't have the code of XMITIP.
Can someone please send me the same (if it can be sent without any copyright issues). _________________ <i><b> Don't wish it were easier. Wish you were better. </b></i> |

Go to Lionel B. Dyck's website http://www.lbdsoftware.com/ and you will find a downloadable copy. |

Thanks a lot Superk !!
I dowloaded the file and also FTPed it to mainframe. A new problem has crept in.
When i issue RECEIVE INDS('MYID.XMITIP.XMIT') i get following msg
Code: | INMR901I Dataset SYSLBD.XMITIP.PDS from SYSLBD on NKAISERA
INMR906A Enter restore parameters or 'DELETE' or 'END' + |
No matter what i specify here (i tried a few including COPY), i get ACF2 violation.
That is because it tries to open/create 'SYSLBD.XMITIP.PDS', for which i do not have authorization.
I think i have missed some steps in installation, but all i did was to follow what was there in the installation guide.
Can you please help me out. _________________ <i><b> Don't wish it were easier. Wish you were better. </b></i> |

I forgot to mention, is the SYSLBD (which stands for Lionel B Dyck) to be replaced by my TSO id somewhere before installation? _________________ <i><b> Don't wish it were easier. Wish you were better. </b></i> |
