Hi,
We have a program in our shop where it executes like this...
Code: |
EXEC PBCF CONTRACT
INITLU(WS-PBCF-INITLU)
INITLCP(WS-PBCF-INITLCP)
RESPLU(C001-CNTRCT-ID-GRP)
RESPLCP(WS-PBCF-RESPLCP)
REQREC(C001-INIT-PROC-REQ-RCD)
RESPREC(WS-DUMMY-RESPONSE)
RCREC(C015-CNTRCT-RTN-CD-REC)
PBCFRC(WS-PBCF-RC)
PBCFRESN(WS-PBCF-RESN)
END-EXEC
|
In the JCL,for the CONTRACT a dataset is given which is referred internally..I am not sure what happens or how it picks..
Please help me out in this.. _________________ Thanks & Regards,

prem,
Just a wild guess . I guess the program is trying to read the file with a powerbuilder interface. Did you try asking your co-workers?

Prem, you really should be talking to your co-workers before asking us. It ought to be quicker.
Cheers,

Merv,
I generally prefer forums because my co workers who really know something are 'clients' and I have to cross a layer of people before, if ever, i can reach them.
We often get task about which we don't know anything, and neither these middle layer people who made commitment. In those cases the forums really help.
Probably Prem is in similar situation.

Hi, Diba.
Yes, I can see there could be a good reason. Thanks for the clear explanation.

But then shouldn't we be getting paid part of the payments made to the people who made these commitments? I mean, we ARE doing their job for them . In fairness, it really IS their job to get you the resources you need to do the tasks that they committed you to do. |

I agree with semigeezer.
It would be nice if the companies post their requirements on the forum and anybody free could take it up. |
