Hi All,
I'm new at this so please bear with me. I'm trying to find out if there is a job or proc that is basically a "do nothing loop" which I can run for 5 minutes and then proceed to the next step of the job.

The standard warning applies though. You won't win any friends tying up an initiator for 5 minutes doing nothing.

(By the way, another way is to use the USS sleep function from Rexx)

thank you both for your response. And yes, I understand about tying up resources needlessly. We will not be doing this without the boss' permission. This question came up during a meeting with one of our applications group......d Wink
