dear sir,
i have new system (os/390) with an nonactive SMFPRMxx Member, i have been given the task of implementating the system and recording the activity of a single user.
i am able to implement the system, but i am unable to collect the reqired data of a single user,
Kindly guide me of the remaining process

Why don't you tell us more first? Is your SMF Member activated? What exactly is the problem? Are you not collecting SMF data, or can't you process it?  |

i have activated my smf member and i have three smf dataset namely sysa.man1,man2 and man3. from this i want to create a smf dump and from this dump a data pretaining to a single user has to be collected.
pls help

Is there data being collected in your man datasets?
What do you get from the mvs D SMF command? |
