I have to display the Timestamp in one of the Map fields
i coded
EXEC CICS
ASKTIME
ABSTIME (820-TIMESTAMP)
END-EXEC.

EXEC CICS
FORMATTIME
ABSTIME (820-TIMESTAMP)
END-EXEC.

Here 820-timestamp is declared as s9(15) comp-3.

i dont need datesep and timesep
please tell me how to display the timestamp as it is
i tried the above code and i'm getting irrelevant 3 letters in it

Map fields are not numeric. No conversions are done on output. Save it to a displayable character variable and display that.
