Hi,

I am using the following job to search a pds. But, it is ending with return code of 12. Can you tell me why?

Code:

//STEP01  EXEC PGM=IKJEFT01,REGION=2M
//SYSEXEC  DD DSN=TXXXX.XXXXXS.XXP,DISP=SHR
//SYSTSPRT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSTSIN  DD *
  SEARCHDD(YES)
  FIND 'XXXXXS'

Thanks.

mf_user,

Your job is excueting a REXX exec to perform the search. Check the PDS associated with sysexec DD statement.

Btw how do you think we would help you without any error messages or source code?

I'm not aware of a standard TSO command called "FIND".

Thanks to you people. I was trying to pull rabbit out of a hat without knowing a magic. Kolusu was correct. It is executing a REXX. I got hold of correct JCL in our shop.

But....

To search in a PDS, why not use ISRSUPSC? Or, did your correct JCL have ISRSUPC in it ?
