I have the following information:

ERR182 A REFERENCE TO xxx EXCEEDS THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED OF nnnnn.

A reference to the file specified by xxx exceeds the maximum LRECL
in the DCB or record size or as specified in the I/O parameter
statement.

So check the LRECL of the file and try.
