|
|
Hi All,
I am in need of your help.
I searched the forum and found some replies to the TRANSMIT command. But I couldn't get a clear picture on how to use it.
I have a .XMI file in my PC. Now, how will I use it in Mainframes.
I tried the following.
1) created a PS file with LRECL=80, RECFM=F, DSORG=PS.
2) I tried to upload the .XMI file to this DS.
After that I issued the TSO TRANSMIT INDATASET('file.xmi').
I am getting the error as INDATASET not catalogued.
Could anyone provide a detail steps on how to use TSO TRANSMIT?
Thanks in advance. |

Try the RECIEVE command.
(XMIT and TRANSMIT are aliases).

| As ofer71 says, you need the RECEIVE command. But you also need to use the right data set name. If you put the name in quotes, you won't get your TSO prefix added. Ask a co-worker to explain TSO prefixes or search the books or net for more info. |
