How was this phrase used? In what context?
Are you referring to software charging as it relates to processor capacity? _________________ Regards,

Suresh
Processor groups in endevor is used to use the appropriate compile jcl along with the various parameters that gets passed in the compile jcl. There will be a different processor group for a batch cobol program as compared to a batchdb2 program as well as a copybook
Thanks

Hi Suresh,
I think your question is related Endevor,
The processor group is meant to compile a program thru Endevor, you have to mention it while compiling a new program, if you use a bad procesor group, your program won't work properly.
for example,
IMS,DB2 batch program - processor group1
IMS,DB2 online program - processor group2
IMS,DB2 subprogram - processor group3
DB2, COBOL batch program - processor group4
COBOL program - processor group5
COBOL subprogram - processor Group 6
Logon to Mainframe, go into Endevor, use option 1;1;1;8 , hope I mentioned it correctly.
