Hi,
I've written a COBOL-DB2-IMS/DB program for first time. The reviewer says that remove all unwanted working-storage variables and recompile it. The program is 20000 lines (expanded). I would like to know how to know the unwanted variables in the program?
Is it useful to look at Endevor listing to find the same? Or any other method?
Please help.
Thanks. _________________ MF

Try looking at the data name cross reference list at the end of your compile listing. Unreferenced names can be seen there, but be careful which ones you remove. _________________ ....Terry |

Oh...God! The information given over there is very useful. I have used the option now and got the results.
Thanks Kolusu. _________________ MF
