Thnx...
Why I needed the above info was, I logged on to a CICS region yesterday and dint sign off properly...
Today when I try to login it says "User id already in use on another terminal"..
I just inquired and found the terminal id for my user id and when I try to force purge the terminal id it says "Not for remote" and points to another region...
When I inquire for the terminal id in the region pointed it says terminal id not found...
Please help how to purge the terminal id..... |

Param
Please try this :
1. Type "CEMT I TERM (4 digit terminal ID)" and press enter.
2. To release the above mentioned terminal overtype "Rel" in the place
of "Acq".
3. The above mentioned terminal will be purged now. _________________ Thanks,

Exact problem....
When I log in to my cics development region(CICSDEV) it routes to a cics region(CICSDxx) and from there I log into my project specific region(CICSDyy) using CRTE....
Now because of improper sign off....When I login to my region it says "User id already use in another terminal".......
Using CICS manager I found that the terminal ID is in Skeleton access mode in my region
When I try to purge or release it says the "command failed" in cics manager
and "Not for remote" in CICS....
Any clues..... |

Once the message "User id already use in another terminal" is displayed, press the key PF9. _________________ Thanks,
