Herein is the scenario.
On a request i wrote a process which cancels all the jobs in the production whichever starts with the userid's say 'ABC', in order they should not hamper the performance of the prod jobs.
Actually, these are not prod jobs, these are business critical jobs, now i need to refine the strategy by NOT flushing the jobs run by users but to give high priority to these business critical jobs.
As a DBA what could be the best soultion i should suggest them.
Pls help me in this regard.
Thanks in advance. _________________ Satya |

Look into WorkLoad Manager (WLM) to handle stuff like this. For one offs then change the service class as needed. |

Or speak to your performance and capacity people to see if they have a 'Hot Batch' DP setup and ready. _________________ If it's true that we are here to help others,
