Hi,

Am invoking the Fileaid panel using the clist command %F1. I have customized this clist to get the values for the following.

1. "Dataset name to be browsed"
2. "Record layout dataset"
3. "Record layout member name".

Issue: the value passed for 1,3 input fields are correctly populated in panel. But the value for 2 input field is not appearing.

Query:
In the panel library for FILEAID, we have some set of variables defined for the above variable fields. But while populating the value, a different variable name is used in the standard CLIST.

(Eg: The variable name present in the panel for BROWSE dialog is DDSN. But the value is passed to a variable DMPDSN in F1 Clist defined for this panel. Even if the variable names dont match, the value that is assigned to DMPDSN variable in CLIST is appearing correctly in the PANEL in the place of "Specify Browse dataset" field.).

I need to know how this mapping is done. As am not able to find the DMPDSN variable in any of the FILEAID system datasets(Panel, SKEL libraries).

Please clarify. Thank you.

Hi,

I got the variable mapping. For my site's install setup, It was there in the file SYSU.FILEAID.L1.OBJECT(FSDEFVAR).
The panel variable for layout dataset is DMPMAP.
