When talking about db2, it does not matter how many times you hear, read, or use the term NULL Value - it is incorrect. . .
Every time you are tempted to use the term NULL Value, resist. And if necessary re-read what Kolusu provided:

DB2 just stores an indicator about if it has a value or not.
