Hey Techfundoos...you folks are genius. Semigeezer your statement " Are there any other messages at the bottom of the listing?" actually played the trick for me. There was a warning message in the output listing that ANYC is not a valid process option. Actually I was giving the parm as PARM(SRCHCMP,'ANYC') and so ISRSUPC ignored 'ANYC' as valid. I changed it to PARM(SRCHCMP,ANYC) and it worked for me.

I would always be greatful to the forum for helping me always when I am facing technical issues. This was a small miss yet went unnoticed by me.

Hi,

This is the JCL functionality I am trying to execute through REXX.

Code:

//SUPERC  EXEC PGM=ISRSUPC,                                            *
//            PARM=(DELTAL,LINECMP,
//            '',
//            '')
//NEWDD  DD DSN=N1234.PROD.JCL(DIBA),
//          DISP=SHR
//OLDDD  DD DSN=G1234.PROD.JCL(DIBA),
//          DISP=SHR
//OUTDD  DD DISP=SHR,DSN=SOME.DATASET

Since my OUTDD is used in the rexx for purpose other than SUPERC also so this is how I am proceeding -

Code:
"alloc f(newdd) da("path")   shr reuse"
"alloc f(olddd) da("p_path") shr reuse"
"execio 0 diskw outdd (finis"
"alloc f(outdd) da("jcl_dsn") mod reuse"
"call *(ISRSUPC) 'DELTAL,LINECMP' "

Now my function stops at the call statement and it is expecting input from screen. There are no prompts.

Let me know what am I missing.

Thanks,
Diba.
