|
|
Hi,
While viewing or editing a PDS member or a flat file using 3.4 option, I am getting "Format not found Error" as shown below -
Code: |
DSLIST RSUCMAR.USER.TEST.COPY Format not found
Command ===> Scroll ===> CSR
Name Prompt Size Created Changed ID
V EXX6YYY1 161 2008/07/01 2008/07/01 04:26:53 RSUCMA
_________ EXX6AAA1 529 2008/12/08 2008/12/08 14:45:32 RSUCMA
_________ TESTERR 11 2008/12/01 2008/12/01 02:57:40 RSUCMA
_________ TESTSAV 21 2008/12/04 2008/12/04 01:29:34 RSUCMA
**End**
The specified format does not exist.
|
ButI can view or edit the datasets using the view panel or edit panel. I checked the "Format Name" field on the view entry panel but I see no entries in it. I also checked the 3.11 option for format names that exist but could not find any.
Can anyone let me know the issue and its resolution.
Thanks |

Somehow you got a value specified for "Format". Put the / in when you select a member and this will display a second screen. In this screen blank out whatever is in the format field. _________________ Regards,

Thanks a ton Bill. I did enter RES by mistake in the Format Name. The issue is resolved now.
