Can z/OS 1.10 automatically adjust the time (for daylight savings and back again) if it is running as a SYSPLEX LOCAL and has no sysplex timer hardware installed? |

Thanks, but you have unnecessarily complicated things.
Is it possible on a 2086 running z/OS 1.10 in a SYSPLEX local without a sysplex timer to have the system adjust for daylight savings time and back again at the correct time/date WITHOUT an IPL? |

I'm not aware of any z/OS provided 'stuff' to automatically do this like your PC at home can do. However you can do a SET CLOCK command anytime you want and z/OS will happily carry on. You could set up automation to do this for you. Your problem will be any application that can't handle the time being changed. |
