Hi,

While working in ISPF i accidently pressed the PF2 key and the screen when into 'split screen' mode. So now i can see 2 screens and toggle between them using the PF9 key. How do i come out of this 'split screen' mode other than closing all the screens?

Without closing the unwanted screens you will remain in split screen mode.

You can place your cursor at the top of the screen and press PF2. This will make the split screen size as small as possible. There is also an option in the ISPF settings where you can always show the split line, I do not have this option set (there is no / before it). Try it out.

I wonder if your quesstion is this simple..if you PF3 (or =X) out of one side, you will return to a single screen.

One of the 1st things I do in a new ISPF session is turn off "Always show split line" . A split always occurs where the cursor is which is why when the cursor is at the top or bottom and you press PF2 there is no split line. See also SWAP LIST command
