Hello Everyone,
I am working on an SR which has some COBOLDL module to develop,
can somebody provide some tutorial about the coboldl basics, i found the programming concept is bit different, it uses some predefined terms like
UPDATE tablename while updating a table. There are many such terms being used. Does anyone has got some tutorial for this stuff. Any help regarding this will be appreciated. Looking forward for replies.
Thanks in advance,
Jaspreet Singh |

coboldl is cobol datacom program, datacom is the database just like DB2, used long back. Coboldl programming is concerned with linking to datacom and then use the data to manipulate as per requirement. |

"coboldl" is pretty obscure -- Google could only come up with 1 hit! _________________ ....Terry |

COBOLDL in places was for dl/i, not Datacom. . .
The standard compiler is used to compile Datacom/DB programs. Many (most) older cobol/datacom code uses native calls rather than SQL. _________________ All the best,
