I have recently dis-assembled a load module for which we have lost the source.
The module is being called from a Natural program which runs under CICS. The production load module works correctly, but we need to change it to run "above the line." We are currently testing the dis-assembled source in 24/24 modes.
I just received an "ALIG" CICS error which says that CICS cannot determine the source (COBOL, ASM, etc) of the load module. Why does that even matter and where in the load module is CICS looking for this information?
I have been searching this forum and the internet for a reference for the layout/format of the load module, without success. Any ideas?
Thanks. |
