Actually am having some difficulty in generating a symbolic map as required in production which is as follows
02 NPLQTY01-CURSOR COMP PIC S9(4).
02 NPLQTY01F PIC X.
02 FILLER REDEFINES NPLQTY01F.
03 NPLQTY01-ATTR PIC X.
02 NPLQTY01 PIC XXXX.
02 NPLQTY01-PICIN REDEFINES NPLQTY01 PIC 9999.
In the development environment the same DGIPNL(that has been retrieved from PRODUCTION) is generating the following
02 NPLQTY01-CURSOR COMP PIC S9(4).
02 NPLQTY01F PIC X.
02 FILLER REDEFINES NPLQTY01F.
03 NPLQTY01-ATTR PIC X.
02 NPLQTY01 PIC XXXX.
The redefines with picin is not generated. i.e I would like to know what SDF setting will make it generate the same
In the option 5 of sdf online i.e STRUCTURE we have defined the following
| Code: | LEV NAME --------- LENG OCC TYPE --- INPUT PICT OUTPUT PIC COMMENT --------

| Code: | 02 NPLQTY01 4 FIELD XXXX ZZZZ PICIN
|

I believe you need to define the PICIN as x(4) and Picout as zzzz.

here the PIC IN or under 'INPUT PICT' it has been defined as XXXX we would like to know how to generate the following
02 NPLQTY01 PIC XXXX.
02 NPLQTY01-PICIN REDEFINES NPLQTY01 PIC 9999.
