I think EXCP count is an I/O subsystem driver. To request the movement of data, either the access method or the user program presents information about the operation to the EXCP processor by issuing the EXCP macro instruction.
But is this any indication of DB2 access? |

nivedita,
Please search before posting. This topic had already been discussed. You have been on this board for quite sometime, so please try to follow the rules.
In brief EXCP stands for Execute Channel Program which is a routine which initiates data transfer to or from DASD.
check this link for the topic which discusses about EXCP

Hope this helps...
