Hi,

I am getting the following error during Link Edit step

MODULE EXCEEDS THE LENGTH LIMITATIONS OF THE TARGET FORMAT.

What could eb the possible reason? Could it be that load module dataset does not have enough space?

Thanks

abracadabra,

Please post the question with as many details as you can. In this case what is the language used (cobol , pl/I ...) and also the exact error code instead of the error message.

Thanks,

Kolusu

Its Ok Kolusu. The matter is solved. Thanks anyway. Just for your info, the programming language was cobol and the problem was with the block size of the load module PDS.

Thanks
