hi
we have defined 26 initiators in zos 1.4 version,the dasd unit is 3390-3
it is working fine but when we submit a job we are getting a error message
ikj56241i- sysout dataset not available
ikj56241i no unit avilable
so we would like to make a change in jes2parm in intrdr definatin
rdinum=6 previously it was 4.
can any one tell us waht will be impact on the system performance
will it degrade or increase the performance

By now you have probably resolved this, but here is my response. We have seen this msg when our TSO default DASD unit (for LOG, LIST, etc) datasets is full. The reason is that ISPF copies your JCL to a work file named userid.SPFTEMPx.CNTL and it can't allocate one.
