|
|
Hi all,
I would like to view the layout of a copybook which has embedded copybooks in File aid using option 8.
But Option 8 works only if the embedded copybooks also exist in the same library.
Is there any option or solution to view the layout if the embedded copybooks exists in a different library ? _________________ Thanks,

Jeba,
Unfortunately you cannot. Why not copy both the members into your private library and use that library to view the layout.
Another option is to compile a sample pgm without creating the OBJ module.
Hope this helps...
Cheers

Kolusu,
Thanks for the response.
Currently we are viewing the layout after copying all copybooks needed in the same PDS. It will be good if fileaid has any option to include the libraries for copybook like Joblib or steplib in JCL. _________________ Thanks,
