HI,

I would like to know the details of how the image copy works at Db2 subsystem level.

Image copy of all system catalog and directory tables need to be done

We are using DSNUTILB program for taking image copy of SYSUTILX,DBD01,DSNSCT02,SPT01 ,SYSDBASE ,SYSDBAUT,SYSPGAUT.


I need the detaisl of how it works internally. and also Can I use FULL COPY as Image copy Backup in COPY Utility??

Check this manual which explains all the DB2 Utilities in detail. Read chpaters 2.7 and 2.8 for more information about image copies.
