Admin,
Just as the previous concern over Xpeditor, you currently have a documentation link for CA-Easytrieve. These are copyrighted manuals that require userid and password verification from currently licensed customers of the product in order to access (from CA's site). Of course, the same holds true for CA-Datacom and CA-Ideal.
You may want to remove these links to avoid any possible copyright questions.
On the other hand, if you have authorization from CA to do this, you may want to either identify them as a partner or acknowledge your authorization to provide the links.
Just trying to help.... |

Hi CATech,
I contacted CA and they do not have a problem with us referencing any links on their site, this includes manuals.
Best regards,

In the USA, you may have a website with links to another site and it does not violated any copyright laws. For example, my postings reference http://www.adventurersclub.org. Linking from here to there is not a violation. But if someone here were to copy things from there and include them here without the link, THAT is a violation of the copyright law.
So the links here are fine. But no copying the actual content. |
