I just inherited an application that uses forms loaded for a XEROX 9700 printer and need to get myself up to speed with the coding involved. I was wondering if anyone can guide me to any sort of refernce for this area (book, website, anything!!). I need to decipher the commands put into the print file, which are then taken by the JCL and associate them with the specific forms loaded.

Any help would be appreciated

Wow.

I first started as a XEROX 8790/9790 FDL and PDL programmer. Boy, does that manual bring back memories. I thought that those printers all but disappeared years ago.

Unfortunately, it's been way too long for me to be of much help at this point, but, who knows.
