how can we find out whether the cobol program is using normal file or VSAM file by watching only the program?

Simham,

please post your questions in the right topic. You posted this question in another topic which discusses about the length of JCL and return code checking. you need to post new questions as a seperate topic unless it is related to an existing post. Also Please search before posting. This topic has been discussed earlier.
