Hi,
Can anybody tell me how to copy the fist and last record of vsam file to another vsam file using utilities.

Allen,

Do you want the first and last record in the same file? or seperate files? What is the LRECL and RECFM of the vsam file?

Hi Kolusu,

I wonder if you could comment on the relative performance of the Sort solution vs the FileAid solution illustrated in the link mentioned above.
