Sandip, assuming you are inquiring about the US banking Industry.

Visit American Bankers Association http://www.aba.com
NACHA Electronics Association http://www.nacha.org/
Federal reserve Bank http://federalreserve.gov/

Hello Admin,

I searched this post earlier, but these are basically case studies and how Wipro and Accenture give a solution to a problem has been discussed. These are not generalized. The basic questions like Asset, Liabilities, GL, Credit, Debit, Profit/Loss are not discussed in that topic. I want to know details of these basic finance terms starting from basic level to some complex level.

These may not be any US based bank because the main principals for all banks remain same and on that customizations are made.

Regards,
Sandip.

Sandip,
propabaly you did not visit the sites I mentioned. Most of your questions relate to Accounting and not banking, though the terminology is similar. In banking terms Credit is money comming in, in accounting it describes what can be a credit and how it needs to be accounted for, what they call 'balancing the books'. NACHA is the key to banking, which explains what can be credit or debit and how it will be handled by the clearing house (all checks need to go thru the federal reserve), in India thru RBI. Hope it helps !
