You can use CSQUTIL which is used to move between data sets and messages on the queue. you can find examples here

Of course, all of the Data Integration software packages (Gentran, Mercator) have this functionality. I also believe that Sterling Commerce offers a version of CONNECT:Direct known as CONNECT:MQ.
