Hello,

I am having an simple doubt. Can somebody clear it.

root(PARENT)
/ \ \
/ \ \
GEN1 GEN2 GEN3
/ \
/ \
TEN1 TEN2

NOW THE PARENT US ROOT.

1. IF I GIVE GN WITH AN UNQUALIFIED CALL(GEN2). IT WILL RETRIEVE THAT SEGMENT. MY NEXT CALL IS AGAIN AN GN WITH AN UNQUALIFIED SSA(TEN2). WOULD IT WILL RETRIEVE TEN2(PARENT IS NOW GEN2)
OR IT WILL RETRIEVE SEGMENT GEN3.

ON THE WHOLE, GN CALL WITH AN UNQUALIFIED CALL DEPEND UPON THE SEGMENT NAME MENTIONED IN THE UNQUALIFIED CALL

2. BY EACH GN CALL PARENT WOULD ESTABLISHED OR NOT.

Thanks,
Anil.

laks,

Please do not post with your CAPS lock on. Posting in CAPS is considered shouting.

Any way check this link for Understanding Current Position in the Database
