I'd like to be able to obtain the value of a ASG-Zeke (V 5.20) Variable,

substitute it within the JCL (In-Stream or Proc) and provide it to

CA-JCLCheck (V 7.1) for verification against our JCL Standards

coded in CA-JCLCheck.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

nova127,

ASG-zeke variables are resolved only during runtime. If you want ca-jcl check to load those variables then you need to add this variable dataset to your jcl-check lookup concatenation list.

I'm not too familar with ASG-Zeke, could you please point me to the ASG-Zeke manual that contains information about this variable dataset?

Thanks!

Nova127,

ASG manuals are copyrighted and are not avaialable online. If your shop is licensed user then you can request the manauls from ASG's Support site.

Hope this helps...
