What is MSDB? Are you talking about Microsoft SQL Server??

MSDB - Main Storage Data Base - Is a particular type of IMS Fastpath Data Base.
The whole database is kept in Storage, refer to IMS manuals for fuller explanation of pros & cons for use of this type of Data Base.
