OK, I have (pretty much) successfully upgraded from z/OS 1.6 to z/OS 1.8

But I have an issue that I did not get the JES3 CIPARM statements right, and I need to change the default output msgclass.

Anybody know if I can do this without a cold start? JES3 is notoriously difficult to manage.

Code the changes in CIPARM in the user exit CSECT Name: IATUX29 (Examine the Accounting Information)

and refresh it using the command

One more question: If I make changes to the CIPARM in the init deck, does that require a cold start?

Like I said, JES3 is notoriously difficult...
